Grandma and Grandpa in front of the Big Palace

Grandpa on a bridge over the Main River (pronounced Mine) with docks on the right of the picture

A well at the Fortress.  They had to pump oxygen down to the workers while they were digging it.  There is fresh water at the bottom.

A cover over the well to keep things out of it.

A house over the well, which they kept locked to keep it from being poisoned from enemies.

A group of LDS Young Adults that we met on top of the Fortress.  They noticed the missionary badge Grandpa was wearing and introduced themselves.

Gardens at the Fortress.

The had us put on these slippers before we could go through the castle.

The real table that Martin Luther used to translate the Bible from Greek into the German Language.
Because he did this, the Bible was then available to the general public not to just the Priests in the Catholic Church.  This was in a room in the Wartburg Castle.
