Beautiful stained window in a Protestant Church in Bad Hamburg.  They let us go in for just a few minutes before a wedding ceremony was going to take place.  As we were leaving the guests were coming in.

The Friedrichshof Castle in Bad Homburg.

The had us put on these slippers before we could go through the castle.

They were blowing up these balloons to put on each row of the Church for the guests.

The real table that Martin Luther used to translate the Bible from Greek into the German Language.
Because he did this, the Bible was then available to the general public not to just the Priests in the Catholic Church.  This was in a room in the Wartburg Castle.

Germany

Who would have ever thought that the  word "beyond" in our name of "ldsenglandandbeyond" meant we would be going to Germany!  We had no clue!!  But it has been a good change for us.  We have plenty to do now.  We are enjoying the contact we have with the other missionary couples.  We replaced Elder and Sister Rose - who took our place in England, and they had replaced Elder and Sister Taylor who are now home.  So it has been somewhat confusing to the young Elders and Sisters, but they seem to be OK with it all.
